The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, is recruiting for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Cancer Systems Imaging, Division of Diagnostic Imaging. Cancer Systems Imaging (CSI) focuses on integrating molecular imaging, chemical biology, and advanced cancer biology with mechanism-based fundamental, preclinical and clinical-translational studies of cancer.

Outstanding individuals applying state-of-the art imaging modalities at a variety of scales to solve key questions in any area of cancer biology and physiology are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will be engaged in basic and/or discovery- based science. This position will provide structure to enable rapid translation of breakthroughs into patient care. The mission is to facilitate the translation of fundamental cancer biology research into clinical molecular imaging, create new opportunities in imaging by functionalizing genomic and cancer pathways, promoting bench to bedside research, strengthening programs already in place and building the foundation for an internationally-recognized department.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Salary is competitive and the benefits package is outstanding.
