The First Global Conference of Chinese Professionals in Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (1st GCCPNMMI), co-sponsored by CSNM, CASNMMI and other molecular imaging associations, will be held on November 1-3 of 2013 in Xiamen. This conference will be the largest nuclear medicine and molecular imaging meeting for Chinese professionals, bringing together a great number of physicians, physics, researchers, scientists and experts with the highest academic standards in the field. Global Chinese professionals will be eager to meet and exchange, to showcase the latest research results of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging and related fields, and to promote mutual understanding, cooperation and development in China.

The main content of 1st GCCPNMMI will involve basic research in the field of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging, current trends and development in clinical diagnosis and treatment, technology advances related to molecular imaging equipment and software and hardware development and their respective applications. The meeting will offer different modalities of information exchange, including main venue reports, reports in specific areas of interest. The goals of conference are to set up cross-border exchanges at a multi-disciplinary level between different research groups, hospitals and enterprises including basic and clinical cooperation, research interaction and satellite meetings and seminars organized by the pharmaceutical and equipment manufacturers. The General Assembly will also act as a platform for all enterprises and manufacturers to showcase new products, new technology and medical technology exchanges. The establishment of multiple grades, types and levels of academic awards covering all accepted papers will be the highlight of the meeting with preferential funding attributed to the young and middle-aged participants. The strength of this meeting lies in the participation of a large number of academic experts and colleagues in the field of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging promoting cooperation and exchange, encouraging cross-border communication and producing a great learning opportunity for one and all.
